OUR POLICIES
Refunds &
Cancellations
Clear terms for your website and the services that keep it running.
Effective October 2, 2026
These policies cover Myzlium website development, website leases, hosting, optional upkeep, and domains. For help, email support@myzlium.com.
These policies apply to orders placed on or after the effective date. A specific written project or lease agreement disclosed and accepted before purchase may provide different service-specific terms. Later policy changes will not reduce your rights retroactively. Mandatory legal rights always apply.
01 / REFUNDS
Refund policy
Requesting a refund
Email support@myzlium.com with your account email, the service involved, and the charge or problem you would like us to review. Include an invoice or order number if available; a missing number will not prevent us from helping. Do not email passwords or full payment-card details. Tell us separately if you also want to cancel a recurring service.
Custom website development paid upfront
Upfront custom website development payments are nonrefundable once payment is received, including before project work starts, if you change your mind, cancel the project, or choose not to continue. Work does not start until the first payment is received; receiving payment does not mean work starts immediately. Project timing and scope are specified in your accepted order or agreement.
The nonrefundable rule applies even if the project has not started or is not yet complete. Cancellation does not create a change-of-mind refund for an unused portion of an upfront development payment, subject to the exceptions below.
This rule does not allow us to retain payment for services we fail to provide as agreed. Billing errors, material service failures, and refunds or remedies required by law remain exceptions. If the work materially differs from the agreed scope, contact us for review and an appropriate correction, refund, or other remedy.
Services that have not started
Hosting and upkeep payments are not refundable solely because you cancel after payment, including before activation or the service start date. If we cannot provide the agreed paid service, the unprovided-service and mandatory legal-rights exceptions below still apply. The initial 12-month website lease commitment begins with the first payment, including if the website has not yet launched. Its cancellation terms are described below and must be disclosed and accepted in the order or lease agreement. We will not add an undisclosed commitment after purchase.
Hosting and optional upkeep
Hosting is activated within 48 hours after payment and receipt of the required domain and access information.
Monthly plans: after activation, cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid monthly period. Service remains available through that date. We do not refund an unused part of that month solely because you cancel or use the service less than expected.
Annual plans: cancellation stops the next renewal. Service remains available through the end of the paid annual term. We do not refund unused full or partial months solely because you cancel, stop using the service, or request an earlier shutdown.
The billing-error, unprovided-service, and mandatory legal-rights exceptions below apply to monthly and annual plans. One-off upkeep tasks or separately priced development work follow the custom-work rule. Recurring upkeep covers the agreed service period and scope; unused included time is not a cash balance. Any rollover promised in your order still applies.
Website lease payments
Base development lease payments already made are not refundable solely because you cancel or stop using the website. An unpaid initial minimum-term balance may still be payable when you end the lease early, as explained under Website leases. Billing errors, failure to provide the agreed service, and mandatory legal remedies remain exceptions. Cancelling does not transfer website ownership.
Domain registration and renewal
Before we register or renew a domain, its charge is refundable. Once registration or renewal is completed, only charges the registrar or registry will not return are nonrefundable, unless law requires otherwise. Any recoverable amount will be returned to you. Domain cancellation, expiry, or transfer does not itself reverse a completed registration or renewal.
Billing errors, service failures, and legal rights
We refund duplicate charges, charges made in error, and renewal charges collected after a timely cancellation that should have stopped them. If we cannot provide a paid service, or a material problem remains unresolved, we will review an appropriate refund for the affected service or unprovided portion. These exceptions apply even where ordinary change-of-mind refunds are limited.
Approved refunds for billing errors, unprovided agreed services, or mandatory legal remedies are submitted within 5 business days after approval, to the original payment method where possible. Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding US federal holidays. Your bank or payment provider determines when the funds become available, which may take additional time. Contact us if you need a refund status check.
You do not have to give up or delay any right to contact your bank, payment provider, regulator, or court. These policies do not waive any consumer right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.
02 / CANCELLATIONS
Cancellation policy
How to cancel
Email support@myzlium.com, using your account email where possible. State your name, the website or account, which services you want to cancel, and whether you want service to end as soon as permitted or at the end of the paid term. A reason is optional. If you want to cancel everything, say so; each service and any separate commitment will be identified.
Send your request before the next renewal charge is due to stop that renewal. There is no extra advance-notice period for hosting or upkeep. The time your request is received determines whether it is timely, rather than the time it is read. We will confirm the service end date, any remaining agreed charges, and any refund. A delay in our response does not invalidate a timely cancellation. Reasonable account verification may be needed to protect your website.
Hosting and upkeep
Monthly plans end at the current paid month end. Annual-plan cancellation stops renewal, and service remains available until the paid annual term ends. Requesting immediate shutdown does not create a refund for unused time. Refund exceptions remain available as described above.
Hosting and upkeep are separate services unless your order expressly bundles them. Cancelling upkeep does not by itself stop hosting. Cancelling hosting can take your website and associated services offline. Please identify every service you want to end.
Custom development projects
You may request that we stop an upfront custom development project at any time. Payments already made are nonrefundable once received, including before work starts, subject to the refund exceptions above. Any unpaid amounts and available deliverables follow your accepted project agreement. This policy does not by itself accelerate unpaid project installments or authorize new work or charges.
Recurring billing
Where your order expressly authorizes automatic renewal, hosting and upkeep renew for the interval shown at checkout unless cancelled. The order must disclose the amount, frequency, renewal timing, and cancellation method before payment. Any renewal or price-change notice required by applicable law will be provided. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not automatically refund an earlier valid charge.
03 / WEBSITE LEASES
Minimum commitment & access
Website leases have an initial 12-month commitment beginning with the first payment, including if the website has not yet launched. The accepted order or lease agreement specifies the base monthly development price, the total initial 12-month commitment, the total development price represented by 60 scheduled base development payments, and the payment schedule.
Myzlium owns the leased website, including the design and code it supplies, until the full agreed development price is paid through the scheduled base development payments or the optional buyout below. Hosting, upkeep, and domains are separate. You retain ownership of content and materials you supply.
Cancelling during the initial 12-month commitment
If you voluntarily cancel during the initial commitment, or the lease is terminated for nonpayment after the notice process below, the unpaid balance of the initial 12-month base development commitment becomes due as a lump sum. The balance is the total agreed initial 12-month base development charges minus all base development amounts already paid toward that commitment. Overdue installments are included in that balance, not added a second time.
Paying the minimum balance settles the initial commitment only. It does not transfer ownership or continue access after the confirmed termination date. It does not make the entire remaining 60-payment development price compulsory. We will provide a written termination confirmation and an itemized calculation. The minimum-balance invoice is due within 10 calendar days after it is issued. For a missed payment, the 20-calendar-day cure period below applies before nonpayment termination or acceleration of that balance.
After the initial commitment
After the 12-month commitment is satisfied, you may cancel at the end of the current paid monthly period. Without an ownership buyout, access to and the right to use the leased website end on the confirmed termination date, and Myzlium retains ownership.
No additional future development lease payments are owed merely because you decline the optional buyout. Valid unpaid charges for periods already provided remain payable.
Missed payments and written notice
Before terminating a lease for a missed payment, we will send written notice to your account email identifying the overdue amount, how to pay or report an error, and the proposed termination date. You have 20 calendar days after that written notice to cure the missed payment before nonpayment termination or acceleration of the initial minimum balance.
If you pay within that period, the lease continues. If you report a billing error, we will review it before taking action based on the disputed amount. Billing-error, unprovided-service, and mandatory legal remedies continue to apply.
04 / OWNERSHIP
Optional website buyout
A buyout is optional. The buyout price is the total agreed development price represented by 60 scheduled base development payments, less all qualifying base development amounts actually paid.
Qualifying amounts include monthly base development lease payments and any initial minimum-term balance already paid. Hosting, upkeep, domains, taxes, and unrelated charges do not count toward the development price.
All qualifying payments are credited once. If you choose an immediate buyout, the buyout price already includes the unpaid initial minimum commitment; that commitment is not added again. If you pay a minimum-term settlement first, it reduces the remaining buyout price.
A written buyout quote will show the qualifying credits and any applicable tax separately. Once the full agreed development price is paid through scheduled payments or an earlier buyout, we complete the agreed ownership transfer and development lease charges end. Separately ordered hosting and upkeep continue until cancelled. Third-party licenses remain subject to their own transfer terms.
05 / ENDING SERVICES
Domains & handover
Domain renewals
Domain renewal is separate from hosting and development. Ask us to turn off renewal before the domain renewal charge is due. Cancelling hosting does not automatically cancel or transfer a domain. To retain a domain, keep it renewed or arrange a transfer before expiry. Registrar or registry restrictions may apply.
Website files and access
If you own your website through a completed upfront purchase, full lease payment, or buyout, we provide the entire website handover at no additional handover charge. This includes the website source code, assets, an export of site data, and setup instructions, supplied through an agreed private download or repository handover. Passwords and private credentials are not included. Third-party accounts, licenses, and platform services remain subject to their own ownership and transfer terms and may need to be obtained or configured separately.
Hands-on migration to another host is a separate optional service, quoted and agreed before any charge. If you are ending a lease without ownership, you may request the customer-owned content and materials you supplied, but the leased design and code remain with Myzlium. Contact us before the service end date to arrange the handover you are entitled to under your agreement.
Download and verify any available files before hosting ends. After termination, the website may be taken offline. We retain a recoverable copy of website files and customer content, including uploaded images, text, and site data, for 30 days after service ends. After that, it may be deleted, except where legal obligations require retention. Retention does not extend access to a leased website or transfer ownership. Do not rely on post-termination storage as your backup.
If Myzlium ends a service
If we discontinue a service for our own business reasons, prepaid amounts for the service we will not provide will be refunded. The customer early-cancellation minimum balance does not apply merely because we choose to discontinue the service. Action for a breach must follow your applicable agreement and law.
